Cultivate inner resources to relieve stress and nurture well-being to help support conception. Mind Body Behavioral Medicine offers patients the opportunity to connect with their bodies throughout their fertility treatment. This program includes training in deep relaxation and stress reduction, cutting-edge approaches for reducing mental and emotional stress, self-nurturing, and optimal strategies to support reproductive health. The program meets for ten weekly 2-hour group meetings on Monday evenings. Home practice is guided by CDs and a workbook.
The program will:
• Explore the mind-body relationship and its impact on fertility
• Modulate the relationship between stress and successful Assisted Reproductive Therapies
• Include lifestyle suggestions to positively impact fertility
• Learn relaxation techniques
• Facilitate coping skills for couples
• Explore cognitive restructuring
• Cultivate a receptive relationship to your fertility journey

Program Facilitator
Buffy Lundine, MA, is a specialist in Mind-Body Behavioral Medicine. Buffy’s graduate training in Mind-Body Psychology included clinical interests in Mindfulness and Stress Reduction. Her 10 year personal and professional study of the transformative aspects of Mindfulness have led her to its positive clinical applications for fertility. She has completed post graduate training with Alice Domar, PhD at Boston IVF’s Domar Center for Complementary Healthcare in Waltham, Massachusetts and in San Francisco with Ken Farber, MA, founder of Mindfulness-Behavioral Skills Training.
